New Community Ministries is a faith-based, grass-roots web of innovative service and product ministries that connect people in the community with much needed resources in a mostly non-traditional way. Each “micro-business” or ministry is brought to you by a team of like-minded individuals who harness their professional experience, dedication to service, talent and/or life’s work to contribute to an unaddressed need in the community. Each ministry is diverse in its function but shares in a common goal to enhance the lives of others that address specific needs without compromising the integrity and long-term greater good for our planet and humanity.
Food Thing Network
Healthy, eco-friendly “Food Bank” alternative. Distribute freshly donated perishable food to people in need through a co-op style, volunteer driven network of people.
Christian Apologetics 101
Promoting Christ-like ways to defend the faith without the need of a degree in theology, ancient languages, or biblical time-periods by developing classes, workshops, online reading materials, and books.
Your Hope Renewed: Christian Mental Health
The focus of this ministry is to provide scriptural support and education for people dealing with mental health issues through encouragement groups and educational classes. We recognize and utilize Christian principles and tools in the healing process. We are also developing educational programs for pastors and other helping professionals, assisting them in understanding mental illness and providing guidelines and tools to use in their service of those with mental health difficulties.
